Where is the Green Top?
Our Dora location is at 7530 Hwy 78, Dora, Alabama, about halfway between Birmingham and Jasper on Highway 78, just east of Sumiton. We also have a store at 1309 Highway 78 E in Jasper. See our directions page.
Can I call ahead with my order?
Yes. Phone ahead orders are welcome. Call Dora at 205-648-9838 or Jasper at 205-221-2244.
How is your Bar-B-Que cooked?
We slow cook our meat over real hickory coals so that the meat is tender. Read more about our hickory pit.
What comes with a plate?
Plates come with grilled bread and your choice of two of the following: baked beans, cole slaw, French fries, baked potato or tossed salad.
I don't eat pork. What else is there?
Plenty. We have smoked chicken plates, sandwiches, potatoes and salads, chef salads, tossed salads, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hamburger steak and chicken fingers.
Can I buy Bar-B-Que by the pound?
Yes. Our To Go Only menu includes Bar-B-Que meat and smoked chopped chicken by the pound, whole shoulders (sliced or chopped for a small charge), 20 piece chicken finger trays and packs of 12 buns.
Do you cater?
